Jan White, a religion columnist printed weekly in The Andalusia [Alabama] Star-News, has published a compilation of eighty of her columns in a book titled “Everyday Faith for Daily Life.”
 

She has written a weekly column for The Star-News for over 25 years. Her columns have also been published in the Enterprise [Alabama] Southeast Sun for over 15 years.
 
“I am excited to announce that my book of selected religion columns has been published, and is available on Amazon and Kindle in hardback, paperback or e-book,” Jan says.

“Having a weekly deadline requires discipline," Jan says. "Coming up with an idea every week can be challenging. A blank computer screen can be intimidating. I figure if a topic is interesting to me it could be interesting to my readers. There are certain seasons of life that most of us have in common.”
           
Jan says that during the past 25 plus years, her readers have often commented about how a particular column spoke to them. Some readers have even told her that they treasure her work such that they have a folder of her columns clipped from the newspaper.
